New Jersey Murder-Suicide

Isaiah Cobb, 33, and Terrance Carroll, 51, both residents of Newark New Jersey, were found deceased from gunshot wounds on Saturday evening in a New Jersey murder-suicide incident, PEOPLE reported.

According to Robert Florida, the Public Information Officer for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark police responded to a shooting incident at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Isaiah Cobb was discovered at what authorities believe to be a New Jersey murder-suicide scene. He was suffering from gunshot wounds, and sadly, was pronounced dead shortly after at 11:45 p.m.

Another victim, Terrance Carroll, was also found with gunshot injuries and was rushed to University Hospital.  Tragically, Carroll succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead the following day at 12:13 a.m.

The investigation has revealed a disturbing sequence of events. Authorities believe that Carroll, allegedly fueled by jealousy, shot Cobb while he sat in his car.

Carroll had parked his vehicle across the street and waited there throughout the night. After shooting Cobb, Carroll proceeded to his apartment, where he tragically took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
