Madeline Kingsbury’s Case
Madeline Kingsbury, 27, disappeared over two months ago after dropping off her children at daycare. On Wednesday, her ex-partner, Adam Fravel, was taken into custody after human remains were discovered.
The remains were found in a wooded area off Highway 43 near Mabel, located about an hour south of Winona near the Iowa border.
Investigators have been focusing on this area since April. The news of Fravel’s arrest brought a sense of relief to Kingsbury’s sister, Megan Kingsbury, who shared a video statement on TikTok.
“Finally, he’s been arrested,” Megan said. “The whirlwind is just starting all over again. This is a silver lining. We’re glad he’s in custody and not walking around as a free man anymore.”
Megan Kingsbury expressed that she is not ready to share further details at this time and that the family is awaiting more information about the case.
The arrest of Fravel provides a glimmer of hope for the family, who have been enduring the emotional toll of Madeline’s disappearance.
Madeline Kingsbury’s 27th birthday recently passed on June 1. To keep her memory alive and raise awareness, her family asked people in Winona and across the country to display blue lights as a symbol to “light her way home.”
As the investigation continues and more details unfold, the family of Madeline Kingsbury hopes for answers and closure.
The arrest of her ex-partner represents a significant development in the case, bringing them one step closer to finding the truth about what happened to Madeline and providing some measure of justice.
