Police Step in to Save a Life
When police kicked down a door to find Brown standing on a bed with his gun pointed at a crying child, they were faced with a subject who was trapped. Because the cop thought Brown was in immediate danger, he fired at her, hurting her but not stopping the immediate threat.
Brown kept holding the gun and pointing it at the child, even though he was hurt. As police rushed to protect the child, who was not hurt but was clearly scared, there was a second round of gunshots.
