No comment to the death of Navalny
A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson responded, “This is Russia’s internal affair. I will not comment” to AFP’s question about the death of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s very well-known head of the opposition.
The two superpower countries remain strong in their allied relationship with both leaders strengthening their friendship status too. VOA News, in their report, states China’s President Xi Jinping referred Russian counterpart as his “good friend.”

Some Western Leaders put blame on Putin
According to Russian officials, the Kremlin’s opposition figurehead, Alexey Navalny, died at the age of 47 in an arctic prison.
As Moscow invades Ukraine, Navalny has been detained for three years and claimed he’s been poisoned by Kremlin. President Putin’s opposition and some Western leaders believed that Navalny was not in a good health condition for months due to harsh conditions during detention.
