The Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a Fayetteville shooting that took place on Saturday along Stanberry Street at Primrose Drive that killed a 22-year-old man.

The Fayetteville shooting incident unfolded at approximately 11:48 a.m. when officers responded to calls reporting a shooting in the area.
According to Yahoo News, upon their arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Lorenzo Darnell McLaughlin Jr. had sustained gunshot wounds.
The swift actions of the responders led to him being rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention. However, despite their best efforts, McLaughlin’s injuries were fatal and he was pronounced dead at the medical facility.
