San Francisco Homeowners Sued by Neighbors

The neighbors of the San Francisco homeowners who were affected by the explosion have taken legal action and filed a lawsuit against the owners of the property, alleging negligence and failure to address the dangerous activities taking place within the premises.

The lawsuit claims that the San Francisco homeowners were fully aware of the illicit drug lab operating in the garage but failed to take any action to prevent it, ABC7 News reported.

According to law enforcement officials, the explosion was caused by 53-year-old Darron Price’s hash oil manufacturing activities. Tragically, Price’s wife lost her life in the fiery blast.

San Francisco Homeowners Allegedly Neglected Responsibility

The neighboring residents of the San Francisco homeowners, whose home was completely destroyed in the explosion, argue that the landlords neglected their responsibility to ensure a safe living environment and permitted Price to continue his hazardous operations.

Their attorney, David Hollenberg, strongly emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, “The kind of activity here is egregious. These types of drug labs are incredibly dangerous.

The landlords had a duty to our clients to at least be aware of what was going on and take affirmative steps to stop that from happening.” Interestingly, the lawsuit does not include Darron Price as a defendant.

Hollenberg explained that this strategic decision is part of their legal approach, although further details regarding this aspect were not disclosed.

The lawsuit will seek to hold the San Francisco homeowners accountable for their alleged negligence, with the hope that it will serve as a deterrent to others who may overlook such illicit activities taking place under their watch.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the affected neighbors of the San Francisco homeowners and the broader community eagerly await a resolution that can provide some measure of justice and prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
