Firefighters across southeast Louisiana and nearby areas responded after a massive fire that occurred at a Louisiana sawmill on Monday around 3:30 in the morning.
“Large and Dangerous” Blaze at Louisiana Sawmill
The firefighters from the different departments and nearby areas responded to what they described as a “large and dangerous’ blaze at Louisiana Sawmill. They worked for hours before they were able to put out the fire at a sawmill on Lake Pontchartrain’s north shore.
In a published article in FOX News, the fire at Hood Industries started at around 10 p.m. on Sunday. They also clarified that there were no injuries reported.
Additionally, the Pearl River County firefighters confirmed on Monday morning at around 3:30 that the fire is already under control through its official Facebook page.

Extent of Blaze at Louisiana Sawmill
It is still not clear how the fire started and how much damage the blaze caused, according to a report published by Associated Press.
Meanwhile, the sawmill on Highway 21 is one of the largest employers in Washington Parish and can also be found in other locations such as in Georgia and Mississippi.
As of this time, the firefighters and other departments continue to investigate the cause of the blaze in the sawmill and to know if there is a need to apprehend any persons.
