In the early morning of New Year’s Day, Ana Walshe, 39, has allegedly gone missing. According to Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley, Walshe was last seen by her family at home around 4:00 to 5:00 a.m. on January 1. Upon investigation, the police have discovered that Walshe had a ticket to Washington D.C. for work on January 3. However, Walshe was allegedly called sooner because of an emergency.

According to Kalmbacher, come January 3, the Cohasset Police received reports from Walshe’s employer and her husband about her disappearance. Walshe’s cellular phone nor her credit cards have reportedly never been used since she disappeared. Therefore, the police could not trace her electronic footprints at all. Nonetheless, Quigley guaranteed that the Cohasset Police have decided to work with different task forces including the Massachusetts State Police for the case.

Details On the House On Fire

According to Kalmbacher, on the afternoon of January 5, the Cohasset Police responded once again to an issue concerning the Walshes. The Walshes’ former house on Jerusalem Road has reportedly burned down to the ground. However, the Walshes had already transferred last April after selling the house in March. The call was also made by the current residents of the house. Therefore, Quigley announced that the authorities do not believe the fire has a connection with Walshe’s disappearance. According to Quigley, the fire started in the attic where the piping attached to a natural gas fireplace insert was damaged.
