1. Seaford, Delaware: With a population of 8,145 and a rich history, one of the most dangerous cities in Delaware is Seaford, located on the Nanticoke River in Sussex County. Unfortunately, its crime rate is 177% above the national average. Last year, the city witnessed a total of 530 crimes, including 88 violent incidents and 442 property-related crimes. The chances of being a victim of violent crime in Seaford are 1 in 92, and the likelihood of property crime is 1 in 18.

2. Wilmington, Delaware: As the largest city in the state with a population of 70,100, Wilmington boasts business prominence and cultural attractions. However, its crime rate is 125% above the national average making it one of the most dangerous cities in Delaware. In the past year, Wilmington recorded a total of 3,713 crimes, including 31 murders, 786 aggravated assaults, and 280 robberies.
