Democratic Senator John Fetterman has returned to the U.S. Senate after the treatment of his clinical depression. In an interview, Fetterman stated that he wanted to talk about his mental health hoping that it would help others who are hesitant to seek help. The U.S. Senator added he did not eat or drink enough, lost 25 pounds, said incoherent things, and became disoriented.

According to Garcia, in November 2022, John Fetterman won a seat in the U.S. Senate after defeating celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz. It was apparently a win that helped the Democrats secure their control of the Senate. However, even after his win, Fetterman confessed that he was not happy about it.
