A Jeremy Renner update reveals that The Avengers actor was interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 10. In the American talk show, Renner opened up about the horrible snow plow accident that almost cost him his life on New Year’s Day.

A Jeremy Renner update revealed that The Avengers actor has made an appearance during an interview on American talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! last April 10. In the interview, Renner, 52, opened up about the horrible snow plow accident in Reno, Nevada that almost cost him his life on New Year’s Day.

According to Chakraborty, during the snow plow accident, The Avengers actor attempted to jump back on the snowcat vehicle to stop it and save his nephew, but he was crushed under the tracks. Renner reportedly remained on the ground for 45 minutes before an ambulance had arrived and he was transported to a hospital in a medical helicopter.

According to Thompson, however, despite everything that happened to Renner in the past few months, The Avengers actor remains positive on his New Year’s resolution to quit smoking and lose weight. A Jeremy Renner update revealed that during the Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview, he admitted to losing around 20 pounds.

Furthermore, Renner admitted that he decided to quit smoking because of the near-death experience he had on New Year’s Day. The Avengers actor states that he was lucky none of his internal organs or spine was damaged. His liver was reportedly pierced, but it was not extremely dangerous. When Kimmel commented about his collapsed lung, Renner only joked about having another one.
