On April 5, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign treasurer, John E. Sullivan, has confirmed Kennedy Jr.’s filing of candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Election. The environmental lawyer has reportedly filed with the Federal Election Commission as a Democrat in a challenge to current U.S. President Joe Biden.An article on CNN Politics states that Kennedy Jr., 69, is also known as the nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy and the son of former U.S. attorney general, New York senator, and presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968.
