2024 Presidential Election: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. To Challenge Biden For Presidency

Environmental lawyer Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly running for president as a Democrat in the 2024 Presidential Election. Kennedy Jr. is also known as the nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

On April 5, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign treasurer, John E. Sullivan, has confirmed Kennedy Jr.’s filing of candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Election. The environmental lawyer has reportedly filed with the Federal Election Commission as a Democrat in a challenge to current U.S. President Joe Biden.

An article on CNN Politics states that Kennedy Jr., 69, is also known as the nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy and the son of former U.S. attorney general, New York senator, and presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1968.

Kennedy Jr.’s Potential in 2024 Presidential Election

According to Kim, Kennedy Jr. has expressed his interest to run in the 2024 Presidential Election and directed his supporters to his website while asking for donations on Twitter last month. Among his family, Kennedy Jr. is reportedly the latest to enter politics.

On the Democratic side, Biden is expected to announce his bid for a second term in the 2024 Presidential Election. Author Marianne Williamson also announced her bid for the U.S. presidency last month. On the contrary, the Republican side has former U.S. President Donald Trump who announced his third bid for the presidency in 2022.
