American taxpayers who missed the $1,400 stimulus payment can claim it via the Recovery Rebate Credit by filing taxes by April 15, 2025. This refundable credit aims to assist those who didn’t receive all three pandemic stimulus payments, per The US Sun.

Still Eligible for a $1,400 Stimulus Payment?

To get the 2021 stimulus, you need to be a U.S. citizen with a Social Security number and not a dependent. The Recovery Rebate Credit gives up to $1,400 per person ($2,800 for couples) for those earning under $75,000 ($150,000 for couples). You can claim missed payments by filing taxes by April 15, 2025. Use IRS programs or call 800-906-9887 for help. IRS Online Account shows payments; this credit doesn’t affect benefits or immigration status.
