California Workers Eligible for Compensation: Did Amazon Underpay You for Overtime Work?

According to The Suns, Amazon has agreed to pay some of its Californian workers who were unpaid for their overtime work. The company gave some employees bonuses when they started working, but it didn’t include them in their regular pay rate. This meant that workers who worked extra hours didn’t get paid enough for their overtime.

The lawsuit says that Amazon broke the state’s laws by not paying its workers fairly. The workers who got bonuses and worked overtime between July 2017 and November 2023 might be eligible to get money back from the company.
