With a generous $10 million budget, this test program offers to give up to $750 American monthly payment for 18 months to two specific groups of people.

Five hundred pregnant women in their first six months will be the first people to gain from this scheme. Each month, they will receive $600. At the same time, a $750 American monthly payment will be given each month to 120 former foster children. Chair of the First 5 Riverside County Commission Zachary Ginder stressed that the program’s main goal is to help parents from the time they are pregnant because they know how important this is for their child’s health and future success.

Recipients must meet certain requirements, such as being at least 18 years old and having a family income of less than $90,916. People in San Bernardino and Riverside counties are looking forward to the test because they think it will help them by giving money to those who need it most.

People who want to take part must be told about the program by a Guaranteed Income (GI) partner service. You can call 951-289-3328 to get in touch with the GI program team about recommendations.

Some people may not be able to join this basic income test program, but they are encouraged to look into other programs in their area. In New York, for example, pregnant women can also get help from a program that gives them a $750 American monthly payment in cash. People who live in certain states may also be able to get payments of $1,312. And, depending on the size of your family, the IRS offers tax credits of up to $2,000.
