$2,500 in Direct Payments

Americans across the country started to receive direct payments from the local government in direct payments through tax rebates and tax refunds. The state of Montana will send an amount of up to $2,500 in direct payments at the end of this month.

In a published article in The Washington Examiner, eligible single taxpayers will receive an amount of $1,250, while married couples jointly filing together will receive $2,500. The rebates will be based on the 2021 personal income tax return.
