A 29-year-old man who was locked up in a jail in Sacramento died early on Saturday. This is the third time someone has died in the jail since May. The man was found not breathing in his cell by the jail guards at around 2:15 am. The guards tried to help him, but it was too late. The firefighters came to the scene, but they couldn’t save him.
The man had been in jail since April 20, 2022. His name and the reason he was in jail aren’t being shared with the public yet. The coroner’s office will figure out what happened to him.
