Daring Dawn Raid: Homeowner Stopped Car Thieves in Their Tracks
According to ChicagoSunTimes, On Monday morning, a homeowner in Winnetka stopped three car thieves from stealing his cars. The thieves broke into the homeowner’s house on Sheridan Road around 5 am and took the keys to his Ferrari and Range Rover. But the homeowner wasn’t going to let them get away with it.

Homeowner Engages in Shootout with Car Thieves in Winnetka, No One Hurt
The homeowner came out of his house and told the thieves to stop or he would shoot. One of the thieves shot back at the homeowner, but the homeowner shot back too. Luckily, no one was hurt. The thieves ran away, with two of them driving off in a silver Audi sedan and the third running away on foot. The police closed the road until 2 pm while they investigated the incident.
