The minor suspect approached the FBI agent with a pointed gun inside his car with a bystander, and authorities have confirmed that the suspect is underage and that his identity is being kept confidential due to legal considerations. The teenager, whose identity has not been revealed due to his minor status, was apprehended on December 5, 2023. And according to Metropolitan Police news, the kid will be charged as an adult under Title 16, with Armed Carjacking (Gun).

The stolen vehicle was later recovered by local police, but the suspect had fled the scene. Following an intensive investigation involving both local and federal law enforcement agencies, the 17-year-old suspect was identified and arrested.
