According to Mansfield News Journal, in a bid to alleviate food insecurity among low-income seniors in Mansfield, First English Lutheran Church together with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank is organizing a special distribution of free food boxes on June 25. This event set from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. aims to provide essential food supplies to seniors aged 60 and over who meet the low-income eligibility criteria. Due to the anticipated high demand for this service the food distribution has been moved to a larger area the parking lot at the corner of Mulberry Street and Park Avenue West adjacent to the church located at 53 Park Avenue West. This location change is intended to facilitate a smoother and more efficient distribution process ensuring that all eligible participants receive their food boxes without undue delay.

The free food boxes being distributed will contain a 15-pound assortment of fresh produce and a 2-pound box of cheese specifically curated to meet the dietary needs of seniors. Participants are advised to drive into the designated parking lot where they will find clear signs and directions to guide them through the pickup process. The volunteers and staff will be on hand to assist in the distribution ensuring that each senior receives their food box quickly and efficiently.
