According to MSN, Pennsylvania State Senate Minority Leader Jay Costa wants to give money to residents from the state’s extra money. The state has a lot of extra money, over $800 million. Costa thinks the state can afford to share some of that money with taxpayers. Instead of lowering the state’s income tax, Costa thinks giving money directly to residents could be a better idea.

Costa wants to make sure that any plan is combined with investments in education and jobs. This would help create more jobs and make the state’s economy stronger. Costa also wants to make Pennsylvania a more attractive place for businesses to locate and grow.
