Despite what Americans might think, crime rates are going down. ABC News says homicides in the U.S. fell by nearly 13% in 2023, the biggest drop ever. Big cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and especially Detroit saw fewer murders, with Detroit experiencing an 18% decrease.
