Eligibility Requirement for the $1,500 Stimulus Check

To be eligible for the new stimulus check in Arizona, residents should meet the following:

  •  They need to have filed their full-year resident personal income tax return for 2021.
  • At least one dependent tax credit return for the tax year 2021 must have been claimed using Arizona Form 140 or 140A.
  • Residents should have paid at least one dollar in personal income taxes in Arizona in 2019, 2020, or 2021.

Furthermore, the Arizona Department of Revenue said that meeting these requirements will give the applicants bigger chance to receive the stimulus checks. It is important to note also that the assigned agency will ask for their name and Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) to receive these payments. Monitoring the Department of Revenue webpage for updates on the rebate status, address changes, or claim submissions is also crucial.
