RoadSnacks looked at crime numbers to find out which cities in New Hampshire are the most dangerous in 2024.  New Hampshire is known for being nice and pretty but some places there have a lot of crime and problems with money and jobs. New Hampshire is rich but these places are still having a hard time, according to the posted news article of Southwest Journal. Americans are wondering if the way taxes are done should change to help these areas. It’s important for everyone in New Hampshire to be able to enjoy the good things about the state not just Americans in the rich cities.

Most Dangerous Cities in New Hampshire

Belmont

Belmont is a place where there are more violent crimes and burglaries than you’d think for a small town. Despite its peaceful vibe and location in the Lakes Region it’s the seventh highest in violent crimes and burglaries in the state. Crime has been going up since 2016 making it less safe than before.

Somersworth

In Somersworth there’s a high chance of property crimes happening. It’s affordable and close to Portsmouth but crime is a big issue here. There were lots of reports of theft and property crimes making it the city with the highest crime rate in the state in 2020.

Littleton

Littleton is a small town in New Hampshire and has more violent crimes and murders than you’d expect. It’s small and good for outdoor activities but it’s the fourth most dangerous place in the state. Visitors should be careful especially when visiting the town’s historic spots.

Conway

Conway is a popular tourist spot in New Hampshire and is not as safe as you might think. Despite its pretty location near the White Mountain National Forest it has a growing crime problem. Many crimes happen to tourists which is bad for its reputation. It ranked high for different types of crime in the state in 2020.

Rochester

Rochester is another city in New Hampshire and has its own safety issues. It’s called the Lilac City and it’s near the White Mountains but it’s the second most dangerous place in the state. Lots of property crimes, violent crimes, and assaults happen here. The number of crimes reported in 2020 was high for a city its size.

Manchester

New crime data shows that Manchester is the most dangerous city in the state. Despite its busy downtown and business activity Manchester has a lot of violent and property crimes. This makes it risky for Americans and their stuff. It’s by a river and near Boston but crime is a big problem here.
