She’s worried about a program that lets 30,000 migrants enter the U.S. each month saying it’s just a quick fix. Florida Congresswoman Salazar thinks we need to fix the broken immigration system and the big problems at the southern border. She wants bipartisan laws like the Dignity Act to make border security better.

Salazar Urges Prioritizing Border Security Amid Concerns Over Immigration Policies

Florida Congresswoman Salazar says over 8 million people came into the U.S. from the southern border in three years. She thinks we need to stop more people from coming in before we fix other immigration issues. While she knows immigrants are important for the economy, Florida Congresswoman Salazar says we need to have rules for how they come in. She’s worried the current way people are coming in isn’t fair. Florida Congresswoman Salazar’s words show that many Hispanic Americans are worried about how the Biden administration is handling immigration. They’re afraid too many migrants might make it harder for Hispanic Americans to succeed. As immigration talks go on Florida Congresswoman Salazar says we need to find solutions that both Democrats and Republicans can agree on.
