Rep. Biggs Warns of Potential US-Mexico Border Chaos as Title 42 Looms
US-Mexico Border Security Concerns Mount as Title 42 Lift Nears
According to American Military News, Representative Andy Biggs from Arizona recently shared some worrying news about the U.S. border with Mexico. He says that when a certain rule called Title 42 is lifted Mexican gangs might send between 700,000 to a million people illegally into the U.S. This could be a huge problem because our border agents don’t have enough resources or people to handle them properly. It means there could be chaos and a lot of people just let into the U.S. without proper checks.

There’s also some confusion about who’s in charge of keeping the border safe. The boss of the Border Patrol said they don’t have full control but the Homeland Security boss said they do. This shows there’s a big challenge in making sure the border is secure. With this rule about to change there’s a real worry about what could happen next and how it might affect communities near the border and the whole country.
