In a groundbreaking initiative reported by by The US Sun, hundreds of Americans in California stand to benefit from California monthly payment of $750, courtesy of a $10 million fund. The California Monthly Payment program, spearheaded by nonprofit Inland SoCal United Way, aims to provide financial support to new mothers and former foster children in the region.

Cash Aid Initiative Through California Monthly Payment

Under the program, 500 pregnant women in Riverside County will receive $600 per month for up to 18 months, while 120 former foster youth in Riverside or San Bernardino counties will be eligible for $750 monthly payments.

Unlike traditional welfare programs, this initiative guarantees income with no stipulations attached, aiming to address inequities and explore innovative solutions to social challenges.

Selection for participation is conducted through randomized processes, with payments slated to commence in early 2024, providing crucial financial support to those in need.

Eligibility and How to Apply for California Monthly Payment

To qualify, pregnant women must be at least 18 years old and earn under $90,616 annually, while former foster youth must meet specific income criteria and fall within a designated age range.
