Millions of Americans across the country are still waiting for the official announcement of the federal government and the Internal Revenue Service about the status of the 4th stimulus check in 2024.

Millions of Americans are calling for another round of 4th stimulus checks this 2024 amidst the rising inflation rate and economic strains brought on by different political problems around the globe. Americans are asking for financial assistance and aid to ensure their financial stability.

In a published article in MARCA, the federal government has already released three rounds of stimulus checks since the pandemic began. However, it is still not clear if there will be a federally funded 4th stimulus check because the focus of the government has shifted.

Meanwhile, the last time that the federal government released stimulus check was $1,400 and it was distributed by the Internal Revenue Service. It helped to significantly bolster the economy of the country during its trying times.

States Giving Some Financial Relief to Their Residents

Even though there is no official announcement of the 4th stimulus check this 2024, state officials have made significant moves to assist their residents. Different states across the country implemented different measures to ensure that their residents have other sources of money.

A few of these are the following:

  • Pennsylvania’s Expansion: Pennsylvania has broadened its property tax and rent rebate program, offering an additional $1,000 to eligible residents.
  • Vermont’s Property Tax Credit: This initiative aids homeowners in paying their property taxes, with a substantial credit available depending on several criteria.
  • Alabama’s Grocery Tax Offset: In Alabama, certain taxpayers received additional funds to help offset the taxes paid on groceries throughout the year.

Furthermore, the Internal Revenue Service has already started significant form of financial return for eligible Americans.
