The man wanted for murder who escaped from a Pennsylvania jail about two weeks ago is still being sought after.
Police issued a warning about assisting Cavalcante in eluding capture
In a report from Scripps News, authorities said on Monday that they no longer have a specific search area for a Pennsylvania prison, Danelo Cavalcante but are still employing a variety of techniques to find him.
The last time Cavalcante was seen was Saturday night. He had no beard and was operating a stolen van. He apparently left the van alone, and it is currently thought that he is in the East Nantmeal Township region.
On Monday, police issued a warning about assisting Cavalcante in eluding capture.
Lt. Col. George Bivens of the Pennsylvania State Police warned anyone who may have previously offered assistance or is considering doing so that they would face full legal repercussions.

Sister of Cavalcante, reportedly brought into federal jail after she refused to comply with investigators
In an article from 23ABC News Bakersfield, the sister of Pennsylvania prison, Cavalcante, who was allegedly living illegally in the nation, was reportedly brought into federal jail after she refused to comply with investigators.
According to Bivens, she will now be deported.
There is now a $25,000 reward for information that results in Cavalcante’s capture.
On August 31, Cavalcante escaped from the Chester County Prison, two weeks after he had been found guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Deborah Brando, 33, his ex-girlfriend, in 2021.
In connection with a 2017 homicide case, the U.S. Marshals Service has stated that Pennsylvania prison Cavalcante is also wanted in his native Brazil.
