The recipients of the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will be receiving their second round of payments for this month on September 29. Reports say the first round of Social Security checks in 2023 has already been received on September 1.According to Cariaga, the Social Security checks in 2023 that will be arriving in 19 days are double payments that will replace the distribution of cash in October. The double payments are due to the Social Security Administration (SSA)’s calendar where if the first day of the following month is on a weekend or a holiday, then, the payments for that month will be received on the last business day of the current month.
