On September 21, former attorney and convicted double murder suspect Alex Murdaugh, 55, is anticipated to plead guilty to federal charges of theft after stealing millions of dollars from clients who needed money for medical care.Unfortunately, an article in The Messenger states that in an attempt to cover up the crime of theft, prosecutors accused the double murder suspect of killing his wife and son in South Carolina two years ago. Nonetheless, the double murder suspect insisted at his trial that he did not commit the crime and appealed his conviction.

Other Charges Faced by Double Murder Suspect
According to Donlevy, apart from the theft charges, the double murder suspect was also charged with helping manage a drug business to launder money and stealing from his family’s law firm. Reports say the charges include one count each of bank fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, five counts of wire fraud, and fourteen counts of money laundering. Each charge reportedly carries at least a maximum of 30 years in prison.
