In a troubling video, thieves were seen dragging a 75-year-old woman over the pavement in a bank parking lot in California during the day. In the Los Angeles neighborhood of Hacienda Heights, California, the violent robbery took place outside a Bank of America on Monday shortly after 11:15 a.m.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office, the unnamed woman was leaving the bank and crossing the parking lot when the suspect approached her and snatched her pocketbook off her shoulder. The resolute woman was knocked to the ground and dragged many feet by the thief because she wouldn’t let go of her possession, reports FOX News.
The male robber is shown on video at the scene tugging the woman by the arm as he tries to take her pocketbook.
He kept dragging the woman until two helpful bystanders arrived and chased the culprit away.
Woman’s status is now unknown
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office’s Major Crimes Bureau is in charge of the investigation.
Despite being seen in the video carefully getting up and walking, the woman’s status is now unknown.
According to detectives speaking to FOX 11, this heist is the most recent in a series that has occurred in numerous towns and counties. Detectives also think the same suspects are involved, reports NowThisNEws.
