Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office reported that an 18-month-old girl died after she was run over by her mother in Cottonwood, Arizona, on Thursday.
13-Month-Old Girl Dies After Arizona Mom Runs Over Her In Car
Cyra Rose Thoeming was identified as the 13-month-old girl who died on Thursday afternoon outside her home in Cottonwood, 100 miles north of Phoenix, after she was run over by her mother Jafria Thornburg according to Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office.
Moreover, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Jafria called 911 to report that she had run over her daughter Cynthia with her car.
People also reported that the investigators say that Jafria Thornburg parked her car outside of the family home when she took Cyra in her car seat down in a gravel-covered area where she felt was safe as she maneuvered the vehicle out of a tight space.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office also said that Cyra was rushed to Verde Valley Medical Center with critical injuries and medical personnel were performing life-saving measures on the infant when YCSO arrived, but despite their heroic efforts, the child did not survive.
Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office concluded the statement by writing that their Criminal Investigations Bureau is actively investigating the case.

Cyra’s Uncle Organized A GoFundMe page For Her
Thornburg and Thomas “T.J.” Warren, Cynthia’s uncle, organized a GoFundMe page for Cyra Rose Thoeming in light of the “terribly tragic automobile accident” to pay for her funeral.
Warren wrote on the GoFundMe page “Cyra Rose Thoeming was a light in the world who brought smiles to everyone she met!!! You were better for having been in her existence.”
As of Sunday, the GoFundMe page has surpassed its goal of $10,400, raising $11,632.
