Patrick Crusius Will Spend His Whole Life In Prison
Patrick Crusius who injured several people and killed a total of 23 people in a shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, in 2019 will spend his whole life in jail after he was handed down with numerous life sentences.
In February, Patrick Crusius pleaded guilty in US District Court and was charged with federal consecutive life terms, including 45 hate crime charges, and 45 firearm charges, and was sentenced to 90 consecutive life sentences in prison making sure that Crusius will spend his whole life in prison, according to a US Department of Justice press release.
Senior US District Judge David C. Guaderrama was the one sentenced and handed down at the Albert Armendariz Sr. Federal Courthouse in Downtown El Paso after the sentencing hearing for three days where several family members of the victims that died took the stand to voice out their hurt and anger at what happened, per USA Today.

Patrick Crusius later admitted, according to his court documents, that he targeted that specific Walmart and the people in it for their national origin and intended to kill everyone he shot, according to the Department of Justice.
Per the DOJ, Patrick Crusius mentioned in his manifesto he uploaded online minutes before the attack that he characterized himself as a white nationalist who was “motivated to kill Hispanics” to dissuade them from immigrating to the United States.
