Senator Steve Santarsiero is urging those qualified constituents to apply for Property Tax and Rent Rebates through the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue before the June 30 deadline.

As the June 30th deadline approaches Senator Steve Santarsiero is urging anyone who might be eligible constituents to apply for the property tax and rent rebate applications. Moreover, those who want to apply can visit Santarsiero’s office and he said that his staff will guide every applicant through the process, and answer any questions in completing the application.
MyChesCo reported that the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 years old and above, widows and widowers who are 50 years old and above, and people with disabilities aged 18 and above. The maximum standard rebate is $650.

Here’s The Income Limit To Be Eligible For The Program
Those homeowners earn $35,000 annually and $15,000 a year for tenants will qualify for the program. Furthermore, Half of Social Security income is excluded from computing income.
On behalf of claimants who met all the eligibility requirements of the program and lived at least one day in the claim year, the Rebate applications can also be filed by spouses, personal representatives, or estates.
