Four suspects were arrested after assaulting and calling a Black student of Lehigh University with racial slurs. Reports say all four suspects are in any way not associated with the said university in Pennsylvania.
In the early morning of April 15, the police on campus received a report of a possible fight that began when four individuals drove past a Black student of Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. The Black student, whose identity was not publicly revealed to protect his privacy, was apparently walking home with two other students.According to Sylla, one of the four individuals, Cameron Graf, 22, allegedly yelled racial slurs at the Black student from the vehicle. In turn, the victim ran after the vehicle, briefly coming into contact with another one of the four individuals in the back seat of the vehicle. The victim backed down and continued his way home, thereafter, but the vehicle turned around and the four suspects chased the victim and his two friends.
Reportedly, the four suspects surrounded the victim and his two friends by the south of Packer Avenue. One of the four suspects, who was later identified as Graf, allegedly struck the victim before running back to his residence hall on campus.

Charges For Assault and Racial Slurs
According to Ignudo, the other three suspects were eventually identified as Brandon John, 22, Nabil Jameel, 22, and Michael Rosta, 21. Both Graf and John faced charges of simple assault and harassment. Jameel, on the other hand, faced charges of simple assault only, while Rosta faced charges of simple assault and burglary. The Northampton County District Attorney’s Office states none of the suspects have any association with the Lehigh University.
