Donald Trump has been indicted for involving in a “hush-money scheme” and involvement with the adult film star Stormy Daniels. Trump administration officials testified to the investigation that Mike Pence would be the highest-profile witness to appear in the jury. Pence’s testimony could be a big help to Trump after he lost to Joe Biden and unveiled the relationship of Trump with his former vice-president.
On the other hand Pence’s spokesperson, Devin O’Malley stated that “Having vindicated that principle of the constitution, Vice-president Pence will not appeal the judge’s ruling and will comply with the subpoena as required by law”. It was stated that Mike Pence served as President of the Senate, and seeing that certification of the electoral college, that Pence was protected from being forced to testify on a jury under the “speech or debate” US constitution, which protects members of Congress from cross-examining about legislative acts.
Pence addressed his interactions with Trump after election day and up to and including January 6. Last month, Pence stated on Gridiron Dinner on Washington that “President Trump was wrong. I had no right to overturn the election, and his reckless words endangered my family and everyone at the Capitol that day, and I know that history will hold Donald Trump accountable.”

How Has Donald Trump responded to Mike Pence?
Donald Trump responds to Pence’s comment on Saturday, he stated that Mike Pence would hold him accountable for the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, spitting that his former vice president should carry the accusations for the violent riot.
Trump made his remarks to reporters aboard his plane as he goes to Iowa for his first visit since setting forth his presidential bid last year. The trip came as Trump was also under intense legal scrutiny, facing several investigations. Trump stated that Pence was propelled by his single-digit showing in recent surveys of potential 2024 Republican presidential contenders, even though Pence has not officially claimed his candidacy.
