On March 30, at around 9:30 a.m., a shooting threat was made to Mills Middle School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Since panic is still high across the country after the fatal school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee a few days ago, students, along with their parents, and staff were given an early dismissal at 1 in the afternoon. The Mills High School was also placed on lockdown since both campuses are close to each other.

An article on The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette states that since the shooting threat incident, the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating who is responsible for the chaos. Jessica Duff, the Executive Director of Communications for the Pulaski County Special School District, stated that at 10:12 a.m., the same caller requested to speak to the same person who answered the first call. The same threat was also made saying they were heading to Mills Middle School.
