Alleged Rape Suspect Of LSU Student Madison Brooks Arrested For Third Rape Accusation

Kaivon Washington, the alleged rape suspect of LSU student Madison Brooks, was arrested again for a third rape accusation. The attorney representing Brooks states that the rape suspect shows a similar pattern of sexual assault.

Kaivon Washington, 18, one of the four accused rape suspects, was arrested again for a third rape accusation. The victim of the first rape accusation was Madison Brooks, 19, who was a sophomore at Louisiana State University. Washington and an unnamed 17-year-old suspect previously faced charges of third-degree rape. On the other hand, Everett Lee, 28, and Casen Carver, 18, faced charges of being principals to third-degree rape.

According to Eberhart, since Brooks’ case, Washington was arrested twice and faced charges for two previous rape cases. The second rape accusation allegedly happened in Livingston Parish in 2020 when the rape suspect was 16 and the victim was 12. The third rape accusation reportedly happened around the same area in October 2022 after the victim met the alleged rape suspects outside Reggie’s.

Third Rape Accusation

An article on The Advocate states that like Brooks, the victim in the third rape accusation met Washington and another man, Karson Jones, 18, at the same bar LSU students frequent. Reportedly, the third victim was too drunk to drive, so Washington and Jones drove her to Jones’ home. An arrest warrant says it was where both men allegedly sexually assaulted the victim and forced her to drink alcohol. The third victim reportedly disclosed the rape crime on January 25, one day after Washington and the three other alleged rape suspects to Brooks’ case were arrested.
