The murder of a 14-year-old boy who was schooling at Porter High School has the neighborhood and family members alarmed. The shot teenager resided in the Kings Mill subdivision with his mother, sibling, and stepfather who is a Houston police sergeant. Neighbors reported hearing gunfire just prior to 8:30 PM on Monday.
Son of a Houston Police Officer
According to the Houston Police Department, a probing is underway for the murder of the son of the Houston police officer. The department also stated, “The family asks for prayers & that their privacy be respected in their time of grief.” The district remarked that the young boy was also a New Caney Independent School District school student.

Gunning of 2 Houston Officers
The gunning came mere hours following the gunning of two Houston police officers. While serving a warrant at an apartment complex, one was dead from the gunshot. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a woman witness heard shots being fired while she was walking in a subdivision of Kingwood at around 8 PM.
The 14-year-old was in the 25000 block of N King Mills Lane in Kingwood in Texas on the day of the incident. According to deputies, the witness heard the said gunshots near the intersection of King Mills Lane and Pauldron Drive. She also saw two men run from the location.
