Investigation underway for drive-by shooting incident in North Kansas City

An investigation is currently underway into an apparent drive-by shooting that occurred in North Kansas City on Friday afternoon.

Officers at the scene verified that a shooting had occurred, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

According to the police, a vehicle suspected to be involved in the incident promptly fled the city heading north on Holmes Street.
