Latest Music Release

Carlos Santana’s most recent single, Let the Guitar Play, was released in January 2024. A collaboration with Darryl “DMC” McDaniels of Run DMC, the track reimagines “Song for Cindy,” an instrumental from Santana’s 2021 album, Blessings and Miracles.

The single features Santana on lead guitar, DMC on rap vocals, and contributions from Santana’s wife and drummer, Cindy Blackman Santana. Co-written by Santana, DMC, and Narada Michael Walden, the song was co-produced by Walden and Lino Nicolosi.

A special 12-inch vinyl version of Let the Guitar Play, pressed in tie-dye colors and featuring three versions of the track, was released on November 29 as part of Record Store Day Black Friday 2024.
