So, why would a 44-year-old Kevin Hart compete in a 40-yard dash against Steven Riley who’s 10 years younger than him? Probably, a bet gone wrong! Former NFL running back Riley is now jokingly blaming retired Tom Brady for Kevin Hart’s injury after their race that caused the latter to tear his hip abductor and lower abdomen.

A Bet Gone Wrong? Kevin Hart’s Injury Left Him Wheelchair-Bound

Kevin Hart’s injury entails Riley’s clip in his Instagram post showing his race against Hart with several spectators watching them in a distance. One of the footage, captured how Hart jumped out and got himself injured. Kevin Hart’s injury consequently put him in a wheelchair which according to CBS Sports might take a few weeks to fully recover considering the nature of his injuries.

Due to Kevin Hart’s injury, he captioned himself as the “dumbest man alive” in an Instagram post, adding that the race is rooted in an argument between him and Riley regarding who can run faster. Hart then claimed that those who knew him could affirm how pretty fast he was. Meanwhile, Riley rebutted and said there was no way Hart could beat him. End game? They decided to challenge themselves in a 40-yard dash.

Is Retired Tom Brady Accountable For Kevin Hart’s Injury?

In a separate Instagram post, via New York Post, Riley mockingly dragged retired Tom Brady’s name about him being responsible for Kevin Hart’s injury. “I saw Tom Brady do it at your age, so I figured you had the juice too, big bro.” Riley has been with Brady as a teammate for four seasons in the New England Patriots.
