On Wednesday, an Atlanta shooting suspect was arrested for killing a 39-year-old woman and injuring four people in a shooting incident at a hospital in Atlanta, CBS News reported.

Deion Patterson, 24, the Atlanta shooting suspect was arrested at a condominium complex, police officials announced on Wednesday night at a news conference. He went to a hospital before the arrest and had become agitated while waiting for an appointment.

An undercover officer spotted and confronted Patterson and called for backup and then the arrest was made. The manhunt lasted for eight hours.
Atlanta Shooting Suspect Suffered From Mental Illness?
The family and mother of the suspect cooperated with authorities. The mother stated that her son has suffered from mental illness and her son needs medical attention.
According to reports, the suspect entered the U.S. Coast Guard in 2028 but was later on discharged this year in January.
In conclusion, the Atlanta shooting suspect was arrested and captured after a long-hour manhunt. A 39-year-old woman died and 4 were injured. Families and friends of the victims are in grief right now because of the incident.
