UC Davis Stabbings: 3 Cases Rattle College Town

The FBI is currently investigating three University of California, Davis (UC Davis) stabbings this week.

These attacks resulted in the deaths of a homeless man and two college seniors. The authorities have described the stabbings as “brazen.”

Davis Police Chief Darren Pytel has stated that the police are investigating whether the three stabbings, considered “unprecedented,” are linked to each other.

UC Davis Stabbings: Who is Responsible For the Attacks?

Pytel, as reported by the Associated Press stated that he is unable to verify if there is more than one suspect involved in the UC Davis stabbings. He mentioned that he and other senior officers who had been with the Davis police department for a longer time couldn’t remember any similar incidents. One of the victims was a college student, while the other two were in a state of poverty.

Davis is a small city that is famous for the University of California, Davis. It is also known for its relaxed vibe and bike-friendly infrastructure. Apart from the nearly 13,000 students who reside on campus, the city boasts of a population of over 67,000 individuals. 

The community is situated around 15 miles to the west of Sacramento, California, and approximately 70 miles towards the northeast of San Francisco.

According to Pytel he could not confirm whether or not more than one suspect is responsible for the UC Davis stabbings. He added that neither he nor older officers who had been in the Davis police department for longer could recall any similar events. The third victim was a college student, and two of the victims were destitute.

A little city called Davis is well-known for the University of California, Davis, as well as its laid-back atmosphere and bicycle-friendly infrastructure. In addition to the almost 13,000 students living on campus, the city has over 67,000 citizens. 

The community is located roughly 15 miles west of Sacramento, California, and about 70 miles northeast of San Francisco.
