Joevani Vale is on the loose after injuring a woman in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The stabbing suspect is also being investigated by the authorities as to whether he is connected to the murder of 83-year-old Ramon Cintron.On the afternoon of April 8, authorities from the New York Police Department stated that they responded to a 911 call that reported an assault at 134 Nevins Street in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. Upon arriving at the crime scene, the officers discovered a 31-year-old woman with a slash wound on her right thigh.
An article on the ABC7 New York states that at around 2:21 p.m., the New York Police Department officers again responded to a different call that reported a crime at an apartment at 185 Nevins Street in Wyckoff Gardens, NYCHA development in Brooklyn. This time, upon arriving at the crime scene, the authorities discovered an elderly man who was unconscious and unresponsive in an elevator. The elderly man appeared to have stab wounds on his neck and right arm. Unfortunately, the elderly man, who was later identified as Ramon Cintron, 83, was declared dead on the scene.
Stabbing Suspect On the Loose
According to Sabes, the authorities have immediately transported the injured woman to a local hospital and is in a stable condition already. They have also released photos of the stabbing suspect who was initially an unidentified male sporting a hoodie and white shoes.
To date, the authorities have already identified the stabbing suspect as Joevani Vale, 26, who they believe is responsible for both stabbing incidents. Nonetheless, investigations on whether Vale is connected to the murder of Cintron are still ongoing. However, reports say Vale had already been arrested thrice for public lewdness in 2015, forcible touching in 2016, and an assault in 2020.
