Christopher Huggins pleaded guilty to the sexual assault of an 11-year-old child in Arkansas for several years. Reports say the child victim was Huggins’ adopted relative.
In April 2021, Christopher Huggins, 36, was arrested after an 11-year-old child disclosed about a sexual assault incident to a school counselor. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) stated that this child victim was Huggins’ adopted relative.According to Webb, after the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division reported of the sexual assault incident, Lieutenant Kieth Lunsford procured a search warrant for Huggins in his home on Delaware Bay Road in eastern Logan County. Pieces of DNA and digital evidence were obtained from Huggins’ home. All of these evidence were forwarded to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory thereafter. Since 2021, Huggins has remained in the Logan County Detention Center after his arrest.

Sexual Assault Suspect Pleaded Guilty
An article on the KATV states that on March 17, Huggins eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child. The suspect received 20 years in state prison for each sentence and will be served consecutively. Authorities stated that Huggins will remain in the custody of the LCSO until he is transferred to the Arkansas Department of Corrections to begin serving his sentences.
