A one-time payment amounting to $800 will be released two weeks from now as part of the program of the state officials in South Carolina.
$800 One-Time Payment
There are now just two weeks left until South Carolina citizens who submitted tax returns for the year 2021 are eligible for reimbursement of up to $800. The tax liability is defined as the sum left over after deducting credits from the income tax they owe will determine how much the tax filers will get.
According to the South Carolina Department of Revenue, taxpayers with tax liabilities of up to $800 will get exactly $800 in refunds, while those with tax liabilities of less than $800 would receive rebates equal to their tax obligations.
In an article published in Washington Examiner, residents in South Carolina who submitted their 2021 SC1040 tax returns by October 17 will get this rebate before December 31. The funds will be sent to the same bank account from which consumers originally got their 2021 refund.
How To Track Your $800 Rebate?
On the website of the Department of Revenue, users may trace their payments. They will need one of the following to access the tracking site: their Social Security number or the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number from their SC1040 form.
If residents have not yet submitted their taxes, they still have time to get this reimbursement. The deadline for submitting is set for February 15, 2023 and applicants will then get their reimbursement in March 2023. If the taxpayer’s address has changed since submitting their tax return, the Department of Revenue must be informed in order to properly release the rebate.
