Ladli Behna Yojana 17th Installment: The Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched the Ladli Behna Yojana, a program dedicated to enhancing the lives of married women within the state. This initiative aims to empower women economically while promoting their overall health and well-being. Additionally, the scheme places emphasis on improving the health and nutrition of women and their families. This article dives into the key aspects of the Ladli Behna Yojana. Initiated on January 28, 2023, the program is intended to foster the welfare of women in Madhya Pradesh.
It offers financial assistance to enable women to achieve independence, pursue education, secure housing, obtain skill training, and create self-employment opportunities. Consequently, the Ladli Behna Yojana serves as a crucial initiative for the empowerment and upliftment of women, enhancing both their financial and moral fortitude. Beginning in July 2023, the initiative includes a provision of 450 rupees for gas refills for registered beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana who possess LPG connections under both the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and the non-Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
In October, the subsequent installment of the program will allocate 1,250 rupees to 1.29 crore beneficiaries. Also, those women who are qualified they will receive gas refills at the rate of 450 rupees. The state government is providing LPG cylinders to over 24 lakh women at this cost. From July 2023 to May 2024, a total of 632 crore 16 lakh rupees has been earmarked for 2 crore 57 lakh 56 thousand gas cylinder refills for the Ladli sisters, as reported by the Food Civil Supplies Consumer department.

- The main objective of this scheme is to empower women in their family roles.
