PM-JANMAN programme
The campaign is an effort to provide Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) families with individual rights and housing with basic amenities by educating tribal communities about their rights. During the campaign, Aadhar Cards, Community Certificates and Jan Dhan accounts will be provided as these are pre-requisites for other schemes like issuance of Ayushman Card, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card etc.
This initiative will reach out to all PVTG households who could not be reached earlier due to distance lack of roads and internet connectivity and provide facilities at their doorstep. Locations like Haat Bazars, CSCs, Gram Panchayats, Anganwadi Kendra, Multipurpose Centres, Vandhan Vikas Kendras, KrishiVigyan Kendra etc will be used to host these events. To carry out this aim, the Development Action Plan for the Scheduled Tribes (DAPST) has set out Rs. 15000 crore for the following three years.
